Spectacular Keukenhof Gardens in Holland

We had a perfect day, sunny blue skies,  and the flowers were at their peak.  I was the happiest person in the park.....D was the most unhappy!

D hates the Keukenhof Gardens.  He promised me last year, that this year, no matter what he would take me.  And he kept his promise!   What should have be a two and a half hours drive took us four hours.  So this meant my time was very limited........

Two and half hours to be exact!   I ran from flower to flower.......I took 963 photos and this included time for a quick lunch.

I am very happy with the photos I took and ABSOLUTELY I would go next year.  D said only if I plan to go with someone else  :  )

Cathy,
I've had your travel blog written in my notes since visiting your space for the Where Bloggers Create tour. I just went through the photo tour of this magnificent place TWICE...your photos brought tears to my eyes!!! I have one of those "D's" too who will be a good sport, just like yours, but their heart's not in it to spend a day in a garden! For this kind of beauty I could be tempted to fly across the pond and be that "someone else" you're supposed to find for next year! Ha ha!

The flowers, and the way you captured them and their personalities... sigh... beyond lovely. Even the presentation in moving from one photo to the next was done in such a visually pleasing way...a macro, then a micro, etc. Can't say enough good things about this post. Thank you for what I know had to be a lot of time invested to share these magnificent photos. You've blessed my day! Xo, Sue
