There's so much to discover and to enjoy in your posts Cathy and this one about your girls'trip to Cambodia is no exception. Your pictures give us not only to discover one of the world's most beautiful site but much more I think with the pictures of a country and its sweet people that you seem to like so much and enjoy to meet so closely... we can feel it through your pictures of these smiling people (Khmer Kingdom was known before as the Smiling Country...) and coming back with beautiful portraits you've made during a previous trip must have been a huge joy that you shared with the people from this village... you don't count your time giving your readers a lot of information about customs and traditions of this country and this is so valuable... and last but not least, we easily guess that this trip has been so much fun with your friends and cousin... thank you for sharing this wonderful trip!

Wonderful post...and just love reading it and looking at your images while I'm sitting right here in the area of that same pool! We are here working with Anthony and Fiona (owners) to support their NGO - Husk...(as you did as well!) We are visiting several others (NGO) here during our time as well...and I must say...having two weeks here at Sojourn is spoiling me rotten for sure! We specifically returned to SR because of our guide that we had two years ago...and that brought us to Sojourn. Last night we walked the village with him and spent time with his family...all so wonderful and gives pause to what all we have... This past week has included a lot of rest and relaxation around the pool...but the upcoming week is very busy with tours and visits. Thanks for sharing your beautiful words and images!

This whole post was an extraordinary read! I'm with Kathy—I, too, kept thinking "this is my favorite," only to find a new favorite moments later. You write so well about travel and culture that it's a real pleasure to sink in to your posts instead of the short-attention-span-double-tap-heart-icon on Instagram, or some such. I love your appreciation for the places you visit, and how that spirit of appreciation shines through in your photography. Thanks for sharing, Cathy!

As I read through this post I kept thinking "this is my favorite" and then, no, "this is my favorite" but in the end those beautiful children captured my heart. It is so wonderful that you were able to reconnect with old friends from the previous visit!1

It is like having a history lesson with your beautiful pictures.
